Biography
Martin Palovic is a PhD student and a research associate at Constructor University (formerly Jacobs University Bremen). His main research interests are innovation-related network pricing issues and the role of natural gas within the energy transition. In his Ph.D., he evaluates coordination mechanisms used in the energy sector and discusses their further development necessary to account for the increasing decentralization of the sector. Since finishing his M.A. studies, he participated on a range of research and industrial projects related to gas trading, smart grids, demand response, energy storage and supply security of the EU. Within his research position at Jacobs University, he focuses on the synergies stemming from the integration of energy networks and bio-methane cross-border trade. Martin holds a M.A. degree in international political economy from Constructor University.
